Yamaha YZFR-3 Rear Brake Pad Compression Spring is designed to lesson rear brake drag/pressure on the pads when you are on your Yamaha R3. This will not effect the working properities of the brake system it will still function as it was inteded.

Rolling resistance on these little motorcycles is everything and is so critical, anything that can assist this is a plus for more potential speed.

This  stainless steel compression spring is engineered by the Spears Racing team and is  manufactured in the USA and is always in stock.

Yamaha YZFR-3 Rear Brake Pad Compression Spring is simply installed without removing the rear caliper. Remove the two(2) small hitch pins and this will allow you to start to remove the “Brake Pin” slowly start to remove until the pin has exited the inside brake pad, at this point you should be able to put the Spears Racing compression spring onto the brake pin.

Once the spring in on the pin you will need to pull the spring towards the outer pad and you will at this time need to insert the pin back into the inner brake pad and put the pin back into the brake caliper. Make sure you reinstall both of the small hitch pins.
