Spears Racing, in collaboration with CP-Carrillo, has developed a purpose-built racing H-beam connecting rod for the 2024+ Kawasaki Ninja 500. Building on a long-standing partnership with CP-Carrillo, Spears Racing worked closely with them to produce this latest high-performance rod.

Fatigue is the major cause of connecting rod failure. These Spears Racing / Carrillo “H-Type” connecting rods are designed and manufactured specifically for high-performance applications using a hardened proprietary steel alloy. The result is a stronger rod that reduces rod growth and increases reliability in the Kawasaki Ninja 500cc engine.

The H-Type design delivers a strong, durable structure built to withstand the demands of the track. Each connecting rod is forged, fully machined, balanced, shot-peened, and finally magnaflux inspected and hardness tested—producing a rod you can trust under the extreme conditions of a race-built engine.
