Description

Kawasaki Ninja 400/500 Steering Stop
Ultra-light aluminum stop for track-built EX400/500 machines

Spears Racing has spent decades developing parts for commuter bikes that get used the way they were never meant to be used: racing. That is exactly why we built the Ninja 400/500 Steering Stop.

This ultra-light stop bolts directly to the stock triple clamp in the same location as the OEM horn mount. No frame drilling. Install takes just a few minutes with the included hardware. Once fitted, it limits lock-to-lock travel so clip-ons or handlebars cannot over-rotate and contact OEM or full race bodywork. The stop is sized to work with most aftermarket clip-ons and steering stabilizers.

The bracket is precision-machined from 6061 aluminum with slotted mounting holes so you can align it perfectly with the factory stop tab. After machining it is tumbled for a smooth finish and anodized for appearance and durability. Unlike typical steel stops that transfer crash loads straight into the welded frame tab, this aluminum unit is designed to absorb impact and help protect the forks, triple clamps, and frame in a get-off.

Spears Racing steering stops are used by FIM SuperSport 300 World Championship teams and the majority of MotoAmerica race teams running the Ninja 400/500 platform.
