Spears Racing has spent decades building parts for commuter bikes that get used the way they were never meant to be used: racing. That is why we developed the billet Side Stand Eliminator Bracket for the Kawasaki Ninja 400 / Ninja 500.

Designed by our  engineering staff, the bracket is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum with rounded corners for a cleaner look. After machining it is anodized and finished with the Spears Racing logo.

Why you need this bracket
Removing the OEM side stand and mounting bracket without a proper replacement leaves the left footpeg assembly without the strength and integrity it needs. This part is that replacement.

Kickstand / Side Stand Bypass Plug

This plug lets you remove the OEM side stand and bypass the factory side-stand lockout circuit.

From the factory, the side stand must be up before the bike will go into gear without killing the engine. Race bikes do not run a kickstand. Riders often twist wires together, tape them, or use crimp connectors. Those fixes fail and leave you troubleshooting on race day.

Do it right the first time. Spears Racing has manufactured this bypass plug in-house for years. It replaces the OEM plug you unplug from the harness at the side stand. It is assembled with water-tight connectors to keep moisture out, looks professional, and is true plug-and-play.

Note: On most of these lightweight motorcycles the side-stand switch is on the left side of the bike.
