Spears Racing SV650 Race Head Gaskets are built for riders who want more from a stock-bore engine without changing pistons or bore size. Each gasket is an 81 mm stock-bore piece made to Spears Racing specifications. The material is thinner than the original gasket, which raises compression from stock to over 12.1:1 and is intended to improve torque and rear-wheel horsepower. In Spears Racing’s own use, these gaskets have been associated with gains of about 1 to 3 ft-lbs of torque and 2 to 4 RWHP.

Construction is a single layer of stainless spring steel, manufactured in the USA. Stainless steel is used for strength, the ability to rebound after load, and corrosion resistance. The gasket is embossed and coated on both sides so it can seal under the load, heat, and surface conditions common in a raced SV650. It is rated heat-resistant to 250°C (482°F).

These gaskets are used by competitors in major series, including the MotoAmerica Twins class. They are for racing use only and are sold each, so order one per cylinder as required for your build.
