Kawasaki Ninja 400/500cc Performance Top End Refresh Kit is a newly added item to the Spears Racing website, this kit is a complete kit for  those who are looking at refreshing the top end of the Kawasaki 400/500cc. The kit will consist of the following products and will allow you to purchase it as a complete kit or by individual parts.

Spears Racing Kawasaki EX400/500cc Head gasket .010: 

This gasket is custom made to Spears Racing Specifications it will increase your Compression from Stock to over 12.0 to 1   The thickness is made thinner than original gasket to get more powerful results for Torque and RWHP .This gasket is used by competitors in all of the world in major race series. These have been installed on several of the racing champions around the world.

Spears Racing’s High compression Kawasaki EX400/500cc Head gasket .010 is comprised of  one layer of Stainless Steel not two like the OEM gasket which is comprised of several layers and fits all Kawasaki Ninja 400cc/500cc from 2018 to the current model year. Spears uses Stainless steel for increased strength, its ability to rebound and corrosion resistance. The layer  of the gasket are embossed and coated on both sides and are  designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions and surface finishes. Heat resistant to 250C or 482F

Spears Racing Base Gasket:

Spears Racing’s .010 Ninja 400/500 base gasket is an aftermarket stainless steel gasket that references the OEM part number 11061-1247 GASKET Cylinder Base, this is the same gasket that is installed on your ninja 400 from the factory.

Spears Racing’s  .010 is comprised of  single layer of Stainless Steel  for increased strength, its ability to rebound and corrosion resistance. The layer of the gasket are embossed and designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions and surface finishes. Heat resistant to 250C or 482F

Base GASKET “O” Ring Kawasaki Ninja 400/500 2018/Current:

The coolant gasket (“O Ring) is Kawasaki part number 92055-0888 Base GASKET “O” Ring

Genuine OEM  which means is it exactly the same as the one mounted at the factory when your bike was new. Spears Has been building the Ninja 400/500cc for years for competitors all over the world and continues to use this Kawasaki Part.

Kawasaki part number 92154-2732 these bolt are recommended to be replaced when you do a top end freshen up this is per the Kawasaki OEM Manual 

Kawasaki Ninja 400cc/500cc OEM Piston Rings:

The Piston Rings form the critical seal between the piston and the cylinder wall. A delicate balance exists between proper sealing for maximum power and minimum blow by, and the correct amount of pressure on the cylinder wall to minimize drag which can lead to power loss and excess wear. Additionally the rings help to carry oil up and down the cylinder wall. Fresh rings are a key component when building a high performance engine. We offer a selection of rings for every piston style and diameter. If you are unsure what rings you require for your stock or overbore pistons, please contact us before ordering.
