MotoAmerica

Spears Racing decided to build a stand alone section “MotoAmerica” on their website to allow the customers to have the shortest way to find items that are “Approved/Authorized” for their race motorcycles.

Understanding that with the current Technical Bulletin 01-2021 prompted us to build a section this spells out the Approved Engine kits/pistons for your Yamaha YZFR3.

Spears Racing will put a few of the “Questionable” items on this page and will continue to post any “Technical Bulletins” produced by MotoAmerica pertaining to the Junior Cup and Twins series.

Spears Racing has been designing and making race products for decades, their continuous committed to excellence to advance as the industry changes. This commitment has resulted in more components specific to certain applications, proprietary products only manufactured for us. Each of these aspects has been put through stringent research and development stages to ensure that our product will exceed your standards.

Who IS MotoAmerica:
MotoAmerica is the organization that promotes the AMA Superbike Series since 2015. Sanctioned by the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) and the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM), it features five classes of road racing: Superbike, Stock 1000, Supersport, Twins Cup and Junior Cup.

MotoAmerica’s primary goal is to reinvigorate motorcycle road racing in North America and ultimately send its riders to the top-level international championships: MotoGP and World Superbike. The series is run by the KRAVE Group, a partnership led by three-time 500cc World Champion Wayne Rainey. The other three partners include energy sector investor and CEO Richard Varner, former vice president of motorsports operations at COTA and former managing director of Team Roberts in MotoGP Chuck Aksland, and executive director of the Petersen Automotive Museum Terry Karges.
