Unlike most of the competitors that believe they have the lightest rotors, the Spears Racing rear rotor is made with AISI 420 Stainless Steel is a martensitic stainless steel with magnetic properties, good corrosion resistance, high hardness heat treatment in the quenched state, Removing the addition material in the sweep area is what we have done is reduced the area of contact with the brake pad(s) along with the overall thickness of the rotor, you will still have control of the ability to modulate you brake pressure.
